CD Critique: Clips in Time Darrell Hansen
This is a good grassroots folk/country album of life as it happens. I
listened to the CD once and was intrigued by the pictures of everyday life
that Darrell Hansen paints with his guitar. On this album, Darrell writes
songs about issues close to his heart - life - family - relationships.
Really the things that matter the most to all of us. You will find accoustic
guitar arranged with keyboards and the occasional bass and drum tracks that
help to weave the story of the song - the life of all of us. I would love to
sit and hear Darrell share the storys between the lines as it is evident
from a careful listen that he is a great thinker and story weaver. Richard

Hello, my name is Darrell Hansen. When the “Spirit” took hold of me, I became a different person. Therefore, my life's work is centered around the spiritual. The music I write affects the “spirit” of man in a way no other music can. My music is real and personal. I write about issues that few have dealt with in the past.

For instance, I am working on three new music projects. I will also have the sheet music and lyrics to accompany the CDs soon. We eventually plan on offering a whole line of cool things.

This song will knock your socks off. You can buy it and play it for dad on Father's Day. It can become
your personal message of appreciation to him for his sacrifice throughout the years.
I think about my dad a lot differently now that I am older, and now I realize the sacrifice he had made
for us. This new song reflects that. I still think about dad often even though he has been gone for
several years now. I wrote “You’re A King In My Eyes” in honor of, not only him, but all dads who
dedicate a good part of their life taking care of a family. I hope you’ll enjoy this message in song. As
always, it is written from the heart, and I am sure it will be a blessing to you.
